Genealogy is not only the search for one's family but the sharing of information with others.

This is my updated home page and is dedicated to the research and expansion of my family history. I was raised in Catawissa, Columbia County, Pa. and became interested in the people and history of the area during the time of Catawissa's 200th Anniversary celebration in 1974. I also became interested in my family history, but due to work and travel, I was not able to spend much time researching. I began some time later finding information and it has lead me to find fascinating information. But I realize that there is much more to learn and understand. This site is dedicated to that search for information and understanding.

Researching: Roberts, English, Wurst, Fryberger, Duttinger, Shales, Clewell and associated families.

Recently I have become very interested in my military service and especially my time at the 8th RRFS, Phu Bai, South Vietnam. Included in my new website is information about my military service starting in 1969 through 1972. I started my service at Fort Dix, NJ and then to Fort Devens, Mass. My first tour of duty was with the 8th Radio Research Field Station (RRFS), Phu Bai, South Vietnam. The 8th RRFS was also called "Trai Bac" Station or Northernmost. I went to Japan for about 6 months and then went back to the 8th RRFS and was discharged in July 1972.

I hope that you enjoy what my site has to offer and visit it on a regular basis. I will continue to update and add new items.
